This is the Waste Matters Scotland (WMS) website.

Caution

This prototype-3 version of WMS contains placeholder content. Its primary purpose is to prototype, trial & showcase a technology stack for WMS.

DCS The development of WMS is one of the outcomes of the Data Commons Scotland research project (funded by the EPSRC).

The objectives for WMS include:

  • Help its user community discover, learn about and understand the open data about waste management in Scotland.

  • Be a demonstrator of the findings from the encompassing research project, and be an archetype for future portals onto other categories of open data.
